How we check businesses

Every business is checked before customers can book it: the owner's ID and the bank account.

Before a business can take bookings, we check:

  • The owner’s ID: an NIN, driver’s licence or passport.
  • The bank account deposits are paid into. The name on it has to match.

A CAC certificate is welcome but not needed, so people who work alone can list too.

While we check, the business can set up its services, hours and team, but nobody can book it yet. If something doesn’t check out, we ask for it again.
