1 min readFor businesses
Listing your business is free. There’s no monthly fee and no setup fee.
On the Standard plan, GetGbam takes 10% of a booking’s total when you check the customer in. The total is the service price, plus the travel fee for a home visit. The fee comes out of the deposit before it’s paid to you, so customers never pay more than the price you set.
A worked example
A customer books a ₦20,000 service:
- They pay ₦10,000 to book. GetGbam holds it.
- You check them in. GetGbam takes ₦2,000, and ₦8,000 goes to your bank the next working day.
- They pay you the other ₦10,000 at the visit.
You keep ₦18,000.
No-shows and late cancellations
If a customer doesn’t show, or cancels inside 24 hours, the whole deposit is yours. GetGbam takes no fee.
If you cancel a booking, the customer gets their whole deposit back, and there’s no fee either.
If a customer you checked in is refunded later, GetGbam gives its fee back too. You only repay what you were paid.
Prices that follow demand
If you let a service’s price follow demand, the fee is 10% of whatever the time cost. A quiet-time booking at ₦8,000 carries an ₦800 fee. How prices that follow demand work.
